Fat-free mass is derived from weight and body-fat percentage, then divided by squared height. The result is displayed to one decimal place.
Worked calculation example
At 75 kg, 20% body fat and 1.75 m, fat-free mass is 60 kg and FFMI is 60 ÷ 3.0625 = 19.6 kg/m².
