Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEM strategies to meet company goals, including increasing website traffic, lead generation, and conversion rates.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of paid search advertising campaigns, including Google Ads (AdWords), Bing Ads, and other paid search platforms.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-performing keywords and phrases, and build effective pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns.
- Create and optimize ad copy, ad extensions, and landing pages to improve click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates.
- Monitor and adjust campaign budgets, bids, and targeting settings to achieve desired ROI and performance goals.
- Perform A/B testing and analyze ad performance data to optimize ad creatives and campaign strategies.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and web developers to create and update landing pages and ad assets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, changes in search engine algorithms, and emerging PPC technologies to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Provide regular SEM performance reports, insights, and recommendations to the marketing team and senior management.
- Manage relationships with search engine marketing vendors, platforms, and agencies.
- Stay informed about competitor SEM strategies and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in our paid search efforts.
- Ensure compliance with PPC best practices, search engine advertising policies, and legal requirements.
- Forecast and plan for SEM budgets and expenditures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Proven experience as an SEM Manager or similar role with a successful track record of managing and optimizing PPC campaigns.
- Strong understanding of SEM best practices, PPC platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.), and SEM tools.
- Proficiency in keyword research, campaign setup, and bid management.
- Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Experience with A/B testing, ad copywriting, and landing page optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple PPC campaigns.
