We have Woocommerce Developer Job openings for a WooCommerce Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining e-commerce websites using the WooCommerce platform. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to create seamless and user-friendly online shopping experiences. Your responsibilities will include customizing WooCommerce themes and plugins, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the overall functionality and performance of the e-commerce websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customize WooCommerce themes and templates to create visually appealing and responsive e-commerce websites.
  • Develop and modify WooCommerce plugins to enhance website functionality and meet specific project requirements.
  • Implement HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create user-friendly and engaging interfaces.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for a consistent user experience.
  • Integrate WooCommerce with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and third-party APIs to manage product catalogs, inventory, and orders.
  • Develop custom PHP code for advanced functionality and data manipulation.
  • Optimize website performance by identifying and addressing issues related to page load times, server response times, and database queries.
  • Implement caching strategies and other techniques to improve site speed.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any technical issues.
  • Perform quality assurance to ensure the website functions correctly and is free from errors.
  • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive customer data and prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Stay updated on security threats and apply necessary patches and updates.
  • Create and maintain documentation for custom code, plugins, and website configurations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer.
  • Work closely with designers to ensure that the website design aligns with the client’s brand and objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing WooCommerce websites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and updates in e-commerce and WooCommerce development.
  • Continuously improve your skills and knowledge through training and self-learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a WooCommerce Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce architecture.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of e-commerce best practices and user experience (UX) principles.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
